We are a safe, supportive, and empowering LGBTQIA+ organization—entirely volunteer-run and proudly serving Eastern North Carolina.
Our Mission
New Bern Pride exists to create a lasting, visible, and equitable future for LGBTQIA+ individuals in New Bern and across Eastern North Carolina. We do this by building safe and inclusive third spaces, cultivating vital services, and fostering authentic connections that strengthen our community.
Our mission is not simply to host events, but to step into the gaps where no one else is serving. Through partnerships with nonprofits, businesses, and civic leaders, we bring together resources that advance equity, celebrate diversity, and provide direct support to those who need it most.
We are committed to professionalism, accountability, and transparency as a 501(c)(3) public charity. Our work is driven by three pillars: community, connection, and support.
Save the Date
Join us on June 13, 2026, at the Riverfront Convention Center in Craven County for an all-ages Vendor Fair and our 18+ Pride Prom. Whether you missed your chance to attend prom or want to relive the magic, this night is for you. This is New Bern Pride’s largest fundraiser of the year. Proceeds support year-round programming and our long-term goal of opening an LGBTQIA+ community center.

Attend Community Events
You don’t have to be to LGBTQIA+ to join our events! Everyone is welcome to participate whether it’s a nature hike, game night, potluck, or our annual Pride Prom.

Consider donating goods, services, spaces, or financial support to help fuel our community initiatives. We're always seeking sponsors for events like game nights or music bingo!
